This Raya 2012, Zalora collaborates with OrphanCARE, a non-profit and non-governmental organization that aims to provide a safe and loving home for orphans and abandoned babies. “Every Child Needs a family” are words that OrphanCARE proudly stands by. Since their inception in April 2008 under the patronage of HRH Sultan Pahang, Sultanah Hajjah Kalsom, OrphanCARE has managed to grow in leaps and bounds.
OrphanCARE’s aims:
- To place orphans into loving homes as an orphanage can never replace a family.
- To provide an alternative for unwed mothers and a safe haven for babies who may otherwise be abandoned.
OrphanCARE works closely with the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development to ensure that matters pertaining to laws, policies & procedures of adoption and screening of potential adoptive parents are strictly monitored.
Throughout this Ramadhan 2012 period, from 16/7 to 19/8, ZALORA Malaysia is supporting OrphanCARE’s efforts. Here are three ways for you to make a donation:
